A simple and humorous vase inspired by the ornamentation typically found in old lace which have graced many homes for generations. The vase is made of molded silicone rubber — a soft alternative to porcelain.

(1968) graduated as a textile designer at the Products Department, Designskolen Kolding. Her studio is in Aarhus, Denmark . Mette always tries to carry a history or experience further by constantly experimenting with concepts, materials, function and formal expression. She works in both two and three dimensions in several materials with various techniques.
