Amsterdam Fashion Week Divas del Sur, featuring the work of 25 fashion designers and jewellery makers from Latin America. Within the frame of the Amsterdam Fashion Week 2006, Otro Diseño has invited 25 fashion designers from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Nicaragua to create design garments and ornaments inspired in influential Latin American woman from all times. Dresses made with ghyfolded paper of safety pins and chirurgical gloves; skirts made of long, black human hair or delicately folded paper; bracelets made with the legs of old furniture. |
