New Moon consists of a neckpiece and bracelet and is part of a collection of acrylic jewellery. In New Moon, focus is on the textures of acrylic: a light, clear and elegant material, ever changing according to the angle and light.
Masako Ban
was born in Tokyo. After working for Shigeru Ban Architects, has been active as a graphic designer since 1991. In 2001, began designing accessories through self-education in London. Established "acrylic" in Tokyo, 2003. In 2005, her first collection is selected for the MoMA Design Store, New York, and in November of the same year opened "acrylic shop" in Tokyo.
