The Töölö design set comprises a glass platter and a ceramic plate. The set's forms follow the contours of the Töölö bay area in Helsinki. The design holds true to the pure forms traditional Scandinavian design while remaining personal.
Osuma Design
is a Helsinki-based collective that mixes product, furniture, spatial and graphic design. OSUMA stands for a collision of things, and finds its inspiration in opposites colliding together. Arja Rantala and Sami Haikonen are its founding members. Arja Rantala has a background in ceramic, glass, spatial and furniture design. Her inspirations are nature, traditions and pen and paper. Sami is a graphic and interactive designer and his sources of inspiration are urban culture, fashion and computer based design. It is the balance between the two that makes OSUMA products unique.
