The Fragile Fragment Bowl is part of Timea’s bespoke Tangled Web Collection, that replicate an ever-tangling spider’s web, which no longer has its symmetry and well-structured lines but instead a wonderful mess of random lines criss-crossing into one another. The Tangled Web design uses the 'tangled' lines only, to create a delicate fine structure. The earthenware hand crafted Fragile Fragment pieces explore the unity between the discovered 'tangled' lines and a smooth surface.

Timea Sido is a young British designer who challenges conventional ceramics, through the development of her innovative technique in which organic lines are formed and layered to construct the final piece.
