Bangles are handmade white resin bracelets that explore the qualities of light, space, absence and transparency. The cellulose resin is a new non-toxic product developed in Germany and is made of plant cellulose. The hollow resin pieces are cast and then pierced and push the boundaries of what has been possible with this material.

Sarah King originally studied Fine Art/Textiles at Goldsmiths College, University of London and launched her first jewellery collection in 1992. She established her reputation by the experimental mixing of precious and non-precious materials: resin with silver; carved wood with pearls, silver or gold. She lives and works in London.
